Bridging the Gap Between Availability and Adoption

BroadbandClusters.org is a free civic technology platform designed to illuminate the gap between internet availability and actual adoption across U.S. communities. While federal data tells us where broadband infrastructure exists, it doesn't reveal who's actually connected—and more importantly, who isn't.

Our mission is to empower city planners, policymakers, researchers, and community advocates with actionable insights that drive equitable broadband investment and close the digital divide.

By combining FCC broadband availability data with U.S. Census Bureau (ACS) adoption statistics, we reveal patterns that traditional metrics miss—helping communities identify where connectivity infrastructure exists but remains out of reach for residents due to affordability, digital literacy, or other barriers.
